Valentines Day

Hope everyone had a great Valentines! With warmer weather lately we have been taking advantage with outdoor fun...Jake has been snowmaching and Sienna & I have been taking Treble for walks or going skiing with friends! Sienna rides along in her sled and yells out...let's go... everytime we try to stop.
I have started a journal to keep track of all the funny/cute things she has been saying to us. Yesterday, after bath time she thought it would be fun to run and hid when it was time to put on her diaper...as I play wrestled her down and told her I was going to wipe her into shape (starting to show signs of the terrible twos) she thought I said sheep and started crawling around and bahhh. Also everyone morning after she gets out of her bed she makes sure to yell....hi trebbie until he comes over and gives her a morning kiss!
Today Jake & I celebrate our 7th wedding anniversary and are counting down the days till Hawaii...just 10 more!

check out my valentine!

Cheers to 2010

Happy New Years everyone! Hope you all had a great holiday season! Cant believe it is already 2010! We have been having lots of fun family time lately! Skiing (Sienna rides along in her sled or backpack), sledding, playing the Wii, enjoying all our new toys and going swimming. I took her out to North Kenai Rec Center and she loved the pool out there and all the other friends she met along the way. By the end she got a little to brave and thought she could just jump into the pool. Cant wait to head out there again!
Our little 19 month old is talking like crazy and actually putting together sentences for me. Needless to say both mommy & daddy have had to change our vocabulary to a "g" version since she repeats everything I say or do these days.
Everyone is back to work and daycare. Cheers to 2010!

Happy Holiday

Merry Christmas and Happy New Years everyone! This year we headed to Girdwood for 4 nights over Christmas....even though it rained on us we still had a great time....playing games, going on sled rides, hitting the slopes, eating, drinking and being merry! We put Sienna on skies for the 1st time....she loved the boots but hated being locked into the skies...I have video! Her daycare is closed this week so I am enjoying spending lots of time with her and have some friends watching her too so I can get some work done. Looking forward to 2010 and all it has to offer! We plan on ringing in the New Years... at home with a family ski and dinner!
We are truely blessed with a great family and friends! Love you all!

funniest little Christmas tree

Jake & I debated whether to get a Christmas tree this years since we will be gone...my brother came to visit and the two of them thought it would be "a fun family affair" to go cut down our own tree. So we bundled up and headed out our back yard until we found the "funniest" Christmas tree. Everytime I walk past it in my living room all I can do is giggle at the poor little thing.
Eric was down for three days this week and spent the day playing with Sienna....she absolutely adores her uncle Eric and I am glad they got to spend that time together. As she told me "they partied" while I was work.

Through the snow, over the pass to Anchorage we went

Season Greeting...this past weekend we loaded up and headed to visit family & friends in Anchorage. We had a great time visiting with everyone and Sienna spent lots of time playing with lots of little ones. It was great to see everyone and share in the holiday spirit. Sienna is 18 months already and talking up a storm saying new words each day. She loves to play outside in the snow and go for sled rides! Next week we are heading to Alyeska for 4-days with friends for Christmas. Looking forward to playing outside and spenting time together! We do miss our family during the holidays and wish we could all be together! Uncle Eric is coming to visit today so we are thankful he can come spend sometime with us!
Hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season!

tis the season....

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving...we have some many things that we are thankful for! We headed over to our friends the Sullens and ate, played games, laughed.
We finally got a good amount of snow and with the warmer temps so Sienna has been enjoying going for sled rides and playing outside!
Yesterday was our Tree Lighting Festival here in Soldotna....so Santa came down from the North Pole and I took him over to Sienna's daycare before the event for all the kids to see. Sienna was not too sure about what to think of him.
The house is all decorated and the lights up so we are in full holiday spirit! Happy December!
