1st Christmas

Merry Christmas! Sienna’s 1st Christmas was wonderful. Both Jake & I took the week off and headed to Girdwood for a three nights with two other families from here. We had a wonderful time…all our condos were right next door to each other, Jake spent most of his time on the slopes and I even got out on the slopes a few times and did some cross country skiing, played lots of games. Sienna enjoyed exploring the area in her back pack, did some sledding and most of all loved all the attention. Some of my friends from Anchorage came down to visit too. We came back to Soldotna Christmas eve and spent a nice quiet evening at home and on Christmas made our way through all the snow over to our neighbors.

Let the Holidays Begin...

This Thanksgiving we are very thankful for all life has given us! Sienna had a great 1st Thanksgiving! Her uncle Eric, Tyler and Kane came for Thanksgiving. We loaded up the family and headed over to the Sullen’s for the day. It was full of lots of great food, football, fosseball, board games and lots of laughs. Friday morning the guys headed out to do some ice fishing and Sienna & I got the house ready for her other uncle & family. Aaron, Victoria, Cameron and of course Spider meet up with Jake for some ice fishing then made there way to our house. Sienna had a great time smiling and playing with Cameron. We went “Christmas Comes to Kenai” to watch the light parade, huge bonfire and fireworks (have to love living in a small town). It was wonderful to have family here!

This week Sienna helped me at my works “Tree Lighting Festive” where she got to sit on Santa lap but she loved all the kisses she got from baby Bradley (my friend Jessica’s son) I decorated the house this weekend and she is very interested in all the lights. Holidays are never going to be the same for us and we are very blessed!
