Little Cupcake Update

Last weekend Sienna & I headed to Homer with the Zobels. Dillon was in a hockey tournament so Sienna got her fill of lots of hockey games and even got to experience her 1st earthquake (just a 5.7) while she was there. She has got crawling down (no more inch worm) and has been busy exploring everything and Jake walked into her room the other day to find her standing in her crib. She now weights 15lbs 3oz…our little peanut.

Seven Months

Sienna turned 7 months last Sunday and with that she is full lots of new activity. To start she got her 1st tooth and is now moving all over discovering everything (she even found a lost earring I had been looking for). Her crawl is more like an inch worm but it gets her to where she wants to be.
Last weekend we packed up the family (Treble included) and headed to Anchorage for a 3 night get away. Sienna got to spend time with her cousins Cameron and little Ella, go to her 1st bridal shower and catch up with lots of friends and family. On Monday we went to court for her adoption finalization, it is not all final yet but we are almost there. We will keep everyone posted.
This weekend we enjoyed the warm weather heading outside for lots of walks and Sienna spent the last night with boys watching the fights since I had to work.

Happy New Years from the frigid Far North

Happy 2009! With high temps of -20 (yes -20) the past week we have spent lots of time indoors trying to remind myself why I live here? Of course it is beautiful outside…at least from the warmth of my house. We rang in the New Years with friends and Sienna woke up before midnight and was able to enjoy all the excitement. We are looking forward to 2009 and all the adventures it holds. Hope 2009 brings everyone joy, peace and happiness!
